education being taught to kindergarteners?

The Obama administration is trying to p a bill allowing schools in the U.S to teach KINDERGARTEN children about education. I saw on the news that the bill is in process of being ped now. He talked about this being " the right thing to do" before he became the president. ( another reason he did not get my vote.) As a parent I am furious, and as a Pre-K teacher it makes me ill. what are your views on it?? Serious answers only please.
