Is there a sickness in this country?

I would say they are ignorant and hateful. KKK is still around, definitely not as much as they have been historically. Sadly, after 9/11 there has been a lot of anti Muslim sentiment among the less tolerant in this country. The funny thing is that I live in NYC, the place most effected by 9/11, and I hear more anti - Muslim sentiment coming from rural places that have no idea of the real horror New Yorkers felt on 9/11. It's easy to sit in your living room and complain about Muslims instead of trying to educate yourself about what is really going on.
