Has anyone had a stroke or a mini-stroke and can you tell me what it feels like....?

I had a 3 mini-strokes 2 years ago. The term they used was "TIA" and, for the life of me, can't remember what it stands for. I was a Truck-Driver and was on the highway at the time. The first thing I noticed was the tips of my fingers were numb. Then my nose and left side of my face. I could not gather my thoughts or articulate speech. My left arm and foot was numb and i could not open my door. I had no strength in my left side. My lips and tounge did feel numb as well. I spent 6 days in the hospital and underwent almost every imaginable test and scan, and still they could not tell me what it was. I hope this helps and good luck.
