Egg Drop Idea...will it work?

i'm making a contraption for an egg drop project, our design is a circular base with 4 popsicle sticks glued to it. in the middle is a bra filled with rice krispies and the egg. the bra will be connected to the popsicle sticks by rubber bands. will this work. if not please leave ideas that are small and include no liquids or a parachute.
