Are jackson Randy Rhoads flying v guitars with lightning paint limited edition?

Someone is trying to trade me one and he is saying that it is was limited and it will go up in value. He wants my dean v that is worth $250 and my deluxe epiphone slasher with on-board effects and new hard case. It's flawless and worth $350. He was only selling the Jackson for $300 and it has scratches/dings and no case. Should I take the deal?? He keeps saying it was limited edition so He cant find any details on it. And he keeps saying that its $600 new so he wants my "cheaper" guitars. But its not new. What do I do. Only answer this question if you know guitars and can help me. Thanks
