What is the most accurate diagnosis for candida overgrowth in the intestines?

I am from the UK and I believe I have a candida overgrowth in my intestines and possibly leaky gut syndrome. Doctors don't seem to know much about this and don't take you seriously. Does anybody know the most accurate test for a candida overgrowth in the intestines?
