Yahoo and ie 8 will not let me click on email links, msn and outlook works ok.?

I had a comp problem and installed a new hard drive with windows 7. then reactivated att.my.yahoo.com and everything seemed to work ok except being able to click on links in my email. went to msn and outlook and it works ok.
